St Lucia Tours: Soufriere & The West
No trip to St Lucia is complete without a visit to the former capital, Soufriere, home to the world-famous twin Pitons, and this is the most popular of our St Lucia tours. We begin in the Castries city centre, and head south-west to La Croix Maingot, an area which was used as a hideout during the war fought between the French and British over the island. The tour continues through lush vegetation, flora, fauna and banana plantations and quaint villages of Anse-la-Raye, Canaries and the town of Soufriere, home of the world heritage site, the Pitons. On that tour you visit the Sulphur Springs, the island’s drive-in volcano and the Toraille waterfall which is a must! On your return enjoy a Creole lunch with a complimentary drink before you head back to the ship.

St Lucia Tours: The North
St Lucia tours of the north of the island start from your hotel or cruise ship. Your first stop will be the Government house which offers historical and architectural interest and is also the home of St Lucia’s Governor General Dame Pearlette Louisy. A stop at Morne Fortune with its historical military barracks, mounted canons, monuments, University Centre and the community college, which is named after one of St Lucia’s Nobel Laureates; Sir Arthur Lewis. The tour then moves across to the interior of the communities of Ti Rocher, Babonneau and Petite Monier where you will see scenes of St Lucian country life where you will enjoy a cool drink before you are taken back to your hotel or cruise ship.
